Interest Check

If you want to buy one of these, please fill out this this interest check form!

I still need 8 more people interested in the project before I can start production!

Redesign

Your feedback has been received! Votes between the v0.3a and v0.3b were 50/50, so I made the v0.4 with the best features from both of the previous iterations!

This version has has full electrical protections, USB-C, and comes in at 51x54mm (roughly 2x2in)!

I also added an extra feature: the ability to switch between three different multiboots with a physical switch. For example, you could use this to boot the bonus disc, a secret thing I'm working on, and Poké Transporter GB, all without having to reflash the firmware!

FAQ

Will this be open source?

Absolutely! The schematic, PCB, and firmware will all be provided under the MIT license.

What does mb_adv stand for?

It stands for multiboot advance! (multiboots are small ROMs that the GBA can boot over link cable)

How do you pronounce mb_adv?

em bee advance!

Will you be shipping outside of the USA?

TBD. I'm trying my best to get this out to as many people as possible, but the last time I shipped an mb_adv internationally, it took 3 months to arrive ;-; (thanks USPS)

(Still) coming soon...

Now that we can shiny hunt Jirachi without being tethered to a Gamecube, I'll show you how you can extend this setup to shiny hunt Jirachi without needing to save corrupt or replay the tutorial!
